About Pisgah Legal Services – Veterans Law

Pisgah Legal Services acknowledges and honors the dedication of our veterans, service members, and military spouses in safeguarding our nation. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by veterans and their families due to their service sacrifices—such as post-traumatic stress, service-related disabilities, addiction, and homelessness—PLS is committed to supporting them through the Veterans Law Project.

As part of this commitment, Pisgah Legal Services collaborates with the Buncombe County Veterans Treatment Court, providing crucial assistance to veterans involved in the justice system. PLS offers legal aid in non-criminal matters during the program’s fourth stage and ensures that attorneys attend court sessions to engage directly with participating veterans. This support aims to address legal challenges comprehensively and help veterans rebuild their lives with dignity and stability.
