GTCC opened its doors in 1958, providing affordable, career-focused education to the community. Today, the college offers over 80 programs of study, supporting student success through innovative education, training, and partnerships. GTCC provides associate degrees, diplomas, certificates, and noncredit courses in professional development, personal enrichment, job training, career development, and basic education.
As the fourth largest institution in the North Carolina Community College System, GTCC serves over 35,000 students annually across six campuses and a Small Business Center.
