HUD-VASH is a joint initiative combining HUD’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance with VA case management and supportive services to aid homeless Veterans. This program aims to facilitate Veterans and their families in securing and maintaining permanent housing. It includes essential services such as health care, mental health treatment, substance use counseling, and other supports crucial for their recovery and housing stability within the community.
