
Partners manages Medicaid, state, and local funds for mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, and traumatic brain injury services. Starting in 2024, Partners will also cover physical health and pharmacy services with the launch of Tailored Plans. The care system is tailored to the choices and needs of members and their families, designed to serve the unique needs of each community. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services contracts with Partners to manage behavioral health care services funded by federal, state, and local taxes. Funding sources include Medicaid, state and county funds, and grants.
