The Problem Gambling Program was established to provide and support effective problem gambling prevention, education, outreach and treatment programs throughout the state. Military personnel are more likely to develop a gambling problem than the rest of the population. The North Carolina Problem Gambling Program is working to increase outreach to members of the military, veterans, and their families.
